FAQs.
QUESTION: : If ENRS said that they would post our posters in a virtual library in the near future are we also able to present at the mutual aid conference?
ANSWER: Priority will be given to presentations accepted to conferences that were canceled completely vs. tranferred to a non-syncronous format (e.g. “digital library of posters”). However, if space is available, presentations that were transferred to a non-synchronous format will be included.
QUESTION: Will NMA2020 accept only prior peer reviewed submissions?
ANSWER: No! This conference has recently expanded to include space for new (never before submitted/peer-reviewed) abstracts as well.
QUESTION: A nurse has a presentaiton scheduled for JUNE 2020 and it has not been canceled yet. This nurse would like to apply, but is concerned that they will not know if the conference is canceled before the abstract deadline. What to do?
ANSWER: While this inaugural conference will feature presentations for conferences already canceled by Covid-19, we anticipate organizing additional virtual conferences in the future for peer-reviewed presentations slated for conferences over the summer or fall that have not yet been canceled.
QUESTION: Will the conference be archived? If so, how will it be accessed?
ANSWER: All threads that have hashtag #NMA2020 will be able to be accessed at any time on twitter. In addition, click on presenter tab https://nursingmutualaid.squarespace.com/for-presenters (if you wish to archive your work) where you can learn how to upload your presentation materials to a free, open-access nursing knowledge repository managed by Sigma Theta Tau International.
